8 New Square is pleased to congratulate former member of chambers, Mr Justice Kitchin, on his elevation to the Court of Appeal. Mr Justice Kitchin was called to the bar in 1977, taking silk in 1994 and was an extremely popular and successful member of the bar until his appointment to the High Court in 2005.
Members of the bar and the legal professions attended court on the 6th October to welcome Lord Justice Kitchin at his swearing in ceremony. Daniel Alexander QC delivered the welcoming speech, a transcript of which has kindly been made available by Marten Walsh Cherer.
