Meet our Clerks

8 New Square's barristers are supported by a team of seven clerks who are responsible for the efficient administration of chambers. They are "polite, approachable, helpful and very accommodating... (Chambers and Partners 2009)" and all members of the clerking team are knowledgeable about the nature of work undertaken in chambers.

The clerks are the first point of contact when instructing a member of chambers and will be more than happy to advise on suitable counsel, fee levels and listing queries.

Members of chambers are often instructed such that we have both sides in chambers; to avoid any potential conflicts of interest we have a strict policy on Chinese Walls.
