John Baldwin QC is leading Mark Chacksfield in this recent patent infringement and revocation action concerning novel forms of esomeprazole in a very pure state. Ranbaxy is seeking to clear the way so as to be free to launch its generic version of esomeprazole as soon as possible and before other generic competitors. The trial was heard over the 8th to 10th June 2011.
