The claimant accused its former solicitors of failing to give appropriate advice and take appropriate action in relation to copyright, database and other IP claims the claimant had against a former director. After a 13 day trial Briggs J dismissed almost all of the claimant’s allegations of negligence and awarded damages of £28,000 on the claimant’s £12m+ claim.
