The Encyclopedia of United Kingdon and European Patent Law is a complete compilation of the UK primary and delegated legislation, together with all the European and International Conventions and Rules. It also provides a detailed 500-page commentary on patent practice written by leading practioners in the field. The 2 volume looseleaf format is updated with releases twice a year.
Recent releases of the Encyclopaedia have included extensive revisions to take account of changes in practice and procedure before the patent office, the amendments introduced by the Patents Act 2004 and the developing case law in the areas of patent construction and entitlement proceedings.
The forthcoming release (Release 60) will include new text addressing the current approach to the application of the protocol in other EPC countries, the Intellectual Property (Enforcement, etc) Regulations and the latest amendments to CPR part 63 and its Practice Direction.
